UPDATE June 22, 2020: Please be advised that fireworks planned for Fête national on June 24, 2020 were cancelled under the extreme drought conditions.
As requested by the SOPFEU on Friday June 19, 2020 at 5:14 p.m., the issuance of burning permits is suspended from now, until further notice. Outdoor fires are therefore forbidden as of June 22, 2020. Only fireplace with a spark arrester will be tolerated.
The CDES and Fire Department of the Town are following up the situation and news will follow about the fireworks planned for Fête national on June 24, 2020.
