Swiss National Day
Sutton has been hosting the biggest Swiss National Day celebration outside of Switzerland since 1976. Come and discover a rich heritage: traditional folk dances, Swiss wrestling matches in sawdust, a small-bore rifle shoot and bonfires. There’s also yodeling, with its amazing use of chest and head voice. Alpen horns resonate throughout the town and Swiss specialties such as sausages and raclette are featured on restaurant menus. Most activities take place at Mont Sutton’s main chalet at Altitude 400 m.
