Reopening of outdoor pools for summer 2020

On May 30, 2020, Government of Quebec announced the reopening of outdoor pools for this summer. Each week, we receive new guidelines regarding the reopening. The goal is to make sure Quebecers can enjoy safe and supervised aquatic activities.

For the moment, only free swimming is allowed. As of June 29, 2020, free swimming at the Goyette-Hill Park Pool will be permitted with specific schedules and under certain conditions. We are currently creating a schedule with specific time slots that will respect the government’s requirements.

As for swimming lessons and aquafit classes, we are still waiting for the guidelines. New information is available every day, and we are doing our best to adapt quickly and stay up to date on the measures in place.

If you are interested in taking swimming lessons this summer, we encourage you to pre-register before June 19, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. on this web site:

These pre-registrations give us an overview of how many people are interested and will serve as references if swimming lessons are made official.

Thank you for your collaboration.
