Free compost offered to citizens

During the pandemic and to promote gardening and residential horticulture, the Town of Sutton will offer its citizens, compost for home garden. This compost will be provided by the Brome-Missisquoi Municipal Waste Management Board (RIGMRBM), so from your brown bins!

Starting on May 23, 2020, everyday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., citizens will have free access to a maximum of 1m3 (1.3yd3) of bulk compost (self-service) which will be located on the Town property that is presently a vacant lot near 33, Western Street (Villa des Monts). Citizens will have to bring their own tools to handle and transport compost.

We ask all citizens to respect all the health and social distancing directives required by the Government of Quebec (distance of 2 meters, no gathering, no tools sharing, etc.).
