Faced with rising costs and growing needs, municipalities, with the support of the Quebec government, must devote ever-increasing sums to the maintenance, repair and development of infrastructures, particularly those related to water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Survey addressed to all citizens<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This online survey is open to all Quebec residents. It consists of a series of multiple-choice questions.   <strong>The consultation runs until June 10.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It aims to document the public&#8217;s perception of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the state of municipal infrastructures;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>water and sewer services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>investment priorities and funding resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>relations between cities and the construction industry, and vice versa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><span class=\"wp-rich-text-font-awesome-icon wp-font-awesome-icon\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\" data-prefix=\"fas\" data-icon=\"arrow-right\" class=\"svg-inline--fa fa-arrow-right \" role=\"img\" viewBox=\"0 0 448 512\"><path fill=\"currentColor\" d=\"M438.6 278.6c12.5-12.5 12.5-32.8 0-45.3l-160-160c-12.5-12.5-32.8-12.5-45.3 0s-12.5 32.8 0 45.3L338.8 224 32 224c-17.7 0-32 14.3-32 32s14.3 32 32 32l306.7 0L233.4 393.4c-12.5 12.5-12.5 32.8 0 45.3s32.8 12.5 45.3 0l160-160z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/consultation.quebec.ca\/processes\/infrastructures-municipales\/f\/1012\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/consultation.quebec.ca\/processes\/infrastructures-municipales\/f\/1012\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/consultation.quebec.ca\/processes\/infrastructures-municipales\/f\/1012\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Take the survey on municipal infrastructure<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> <strong>(in French only)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The responses collected will help the government to better understand the public&#8217;s expectations regarding the level and quality of services, the prioritization of investments and the collective financial responsibility associated with municipal infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: for the purposes of this consultation, the term &#8220;infrastructure&#8221; refers to buildings, equipment or civil engineering works that contribute to the provision of government services. Examples include roads, municipal buildings, parks, incinerators and water infrastructures.
