{"id":93527,"date":"2025-04-08T16:38:26","date_gmt":"2025-04-08T20:38:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/?p=93527"},"modified":"2025-09-08T13:36:49","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T17:36:49","slug":"standards-in-effect-for-certain-types-of-prohibited-buildings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/en\/standards-in-effect-for-certain-types-of-prohibited-buildings\/","title":{"rendered":"Standards in effect for certain types of prohibited buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accordance with <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-central-palette-4-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/115-10-2019-zonage-version-codifi%C3%A9e_2019-10-28.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zoning By-law number 115-2<\/a><\/mark><\/strong> (Chapter 2, Section 1, Article 1.9) in force, the following are prohibited throughout the Town&#8217;s territory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The use of railway cars, buses, trailers or other similar vehicles or parts of vehicles as a main or accessory building;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The use of containers as main or accessory buildings;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Except for agricultural uses, semi-circular buildings (arches, domes or other), prefabricated or not, in galvanized sheet metal, metal cladding or any other material;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The use of containers for storage is therefore not permitted on Town of Sutton territory.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We would also like to remind you that it is forbidden to occupy a trailer, caravan or tent-trailer on the Town&#8217;s territory.
