It was also noted that this Plan was a continuation of the previous one from 2009. The presentation document can be consulted<strong> here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-106559\" style=\"width:530px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-6.jpg 640w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-6-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>A long line of citizens took turns at the microphone during the question period to express their concerns and ensure that the Plan properly considers Sutton&#8217;s <em>Outdoor<\/em> identity, which is increasingly based on a strong development of four-season outdoor activities. Furthermore, some residents wished to express their view that the mountain should not be considered separately, as a tourist area, but rather as an integral part of the community.  <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-106561\" style=\"width:530px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-7.jpg 640w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-consult-publ-PU-7-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The elected officials and administration carefully considered all comments expressed. Overall, no major outstanding issues remained, as several modifications requested during the pre-consultation had already been made.
