Like all of you, the Town of Sutton is eagerly awaiting the opening of the skating rink and the ice path. Unlike other municipalities where it is asphalt, the surface on which we must prepare the ice is natural or porous: it does not hold the snow in mild temperatures. \u00a0That is why we have been unable until now to obtain a layer of snow thick enough to make the ice. However, a first layer of ice was made last night, and we are hopeful that we will be able to welcome the skaters on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Please note that this year, the surface area of the ice path has been doubled and mood lights have been added, making your experience even more magical!<\/p>\n

We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope you will enjoy this great fun activity as soon as it is up and running. Watch for the announcement of the opening on the home page of the Town\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
