Updating the urban plan: the Town of Sutton invites the population to a citizen participation session on Wednesday, May 26, 2021<\/p>\n

Sutton, May 12, 2021<\/strong> \u2014 The Town of Sutton has undertaken to update its urban plan and modernize the regulations in force. This approach is in line with the urban plan and by-laws adopted in 2009 and takes into account the issues and challenges currently facing the Town.<\/p>\n

To this end, a participatory process will be held by the Town of Sutton in collaboration with the firm Stantec, in order to obtain feedback from Sutton\u2019s citizens. Their participation will enhance the thinking of the project team, as well as helping to identify the needs and aspirations of the community for the future of the town.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the Town of Sutton invites the entire population to join a meeting in virtual form on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. Citizens are invited to share their ideas, questions, and comments through surveys and question periods set up online. The results will be fed into the updating of the urban plan. The meeting platform will be accessible from 6:30 p.m. on May 26 so that everyone can test their connection ahead of the meeting. Support services will also be available to help participants connect to the platform.<\/p>\n

Citizens must register for this citizen participation session by sending an email to the following address: communications@sutton.ca, before Friday, May 21. The connection instructions will then be sent back by email once the citizen has been registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
