Safer, it will require, after the adaptation period, only one employee to operate the automated collection of garbage and recyclable materials, which will allow an obvious gain in productivity. However, it is very important that the bins are well placed so that the arm can maneuver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to place your bin properly?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new collection system, it is important to respect the following instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The bin must be placed facing the street, with <strong>the wheels on the side of the house<\/strong>, as is already the case for the compost bins that are picked up by Matrec&#8217;s automated arm trucks;<\/li><li>Each bin must be <strong>at least 1 metre (3 feet) away<\/strong> from any other bin or obstacle for the automated arm to catch.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be a period of adjustment to help our citizens learn the right habits.
