Our town, renowned for its natural beauty and rich culture, will be vibrating to the rhythm of various cultural activities set up especially for the 2022 Journ\u00e9es de la culture which will take place from September 29 to October 2, 2022.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Under the theme “Loud and Clear!”, several Sutton cultural organizations are offering activities that will allow you to enrich your knowledge while enjoying the benefits of culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WRITING WORKSHOP LED BY DIANE LAMBIN<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In a \u201cMets mots \u00e0 moi\u201d version, the workshop (in French) invites you to awaken your sensibility and your imagination. You will be introduced to the elements that make up a story and you will create short texts of various genres: notebook, romantic and surrealist fiction or poetry. The reading of the texts will add to the pleasure and enrich this literary event. The atmosphere of the workshop will be one of humor and humanism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE CREATION OF THE JEAN-PAUL RIOPELLE EXHIBITION AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF CANADA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sylvie Lacerte, guest curator for the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, will talk about the development of the major retrospective exhibition Jean Paul Riopelle<\/em>, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth in 2023. In her presentation, the curator will talk about the concept and realization (still in progress) of the exhibition and the steps that have led and will ultimately lead to this highly anticipated event. An exciting look behind the scenes of the creation of an exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
