You will be automatically directed to the primary-care access call centre (CAP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To access the service, you must be registered on the waiting list for a family physician through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quebec.ca\/en\/health\/finding-a-resource\/quebec-family-doctor-finder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Qu\u00e9bec Family Doctor Finder (GAMF)<\/a> or be under the care of a physician group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On the telephone, you can:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explain to the staff member who answers why you want an appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the assessment of your needs, you will then be offered the appropriate service, which might be provided by a nurse, social worker, pharmacist, family doctor, or another health-care professional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We will try to meet your needs close to where you live.
