When it was adopted in February 2023, the action plan set 19 objectives for the year, of which was broken down into 30 actions, leading to 53 expected results.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"538\" src=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2-1024x538.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73469\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2-768x403.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Excellent results<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have seen several noteworthy initiatives come into motion. To this end, a progress report has been prepared:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><i class=\"fas fa-file-pdf\"><\/i> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#591046\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> <\/mark><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Bilan_PFA_FEV2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Action plan progress monitoring &#8211; February 2024<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, 28 of the 53 expected results have been achieved, i.e. 52%!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Achievements of 2023 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New bike racks installed (action 1.1.1);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support of new and innovative housing projects (action 3.1.2);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addition of activities for each target group, i.e., Baby gym in the school gymnasium and the creation of a collective mural (action 6.1.2);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addition of a multigenerational swing at Parc Goyette-Hill (action 7.3.1);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 pickleball courts added to Goyette-Hill Park (action 7.3.1);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"538\" src=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3-1024x538.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73470\" style=\"width:603px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3-768x403.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Among the 25 results still expected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 initiatives started in 2023 will be completed during 2024 (&#8220;in progress&#8221; results);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 initiatives started in 2023 will continue throughout the life of the action plan (&#8220;continuous&#8221;);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 initiatives have yet to be implemented (&#8220;not completed&#8221;).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, several projects not scheduled for 2023 were completed last year, such as the financial access program for sports activities (action 6.1.1), the organization of an intergenerational activity (action 5.2.1) and the development of priority infrastructures (action 7.3.1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The efforts of an ever-mobilized committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Several members of the Monitoring Committee were involved in the updating process. During 2023, the committee members met twice and some are also responsible for carrying out initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, throughout the year, FADOQ Les Deux Monts held digital information technology activities at the Sutton Town Hall and the Municipal and School Library. These activities are popular and contribute to the digital literacy of our population, as well as contributing to the prevention of situations of fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73476\" style=\"width:567px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/sutton.ca\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Photo-plan-action-LVCC-2-scaled.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Still more to come!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, several actions will continue and other actions will begin, including the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Carrying out a survey regarding families&#8217; interests in leisure activities (action 6.1.2);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation of corrective measures based on the evaluation of accessibility&nbsp; and the promotion of these measures (action 6.1.3);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of parking facilities for people with reduced mobility and launching of an awareness campaign (action 7.2.1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 21 objectives have been scheduled for 2024: these objectives will be broken down into 33 actions, with 58 expected results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Action Plan continues to evolve and progress in which expected results can be added.
