Several outdoor cinema events in Sutton this summer!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its own Open Air Cinema family film program<\/strong>,<\/a> which runs from July 4 to August 15 at the Veterans’a Park, the Town of Sutton has decided to partner with with Les Nocturnes<\/a><\/strong> for a second year, to give its residents a wider choice of films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Sutton joins Cowansville and Bromont in hosting the 15th edition of Cin\u00e9ma sous les \u00e9toiles<\/strong><\/a>, a documentary film festival organized by Funambules M\u00e9dias. As part of les Nocturnes program, the Sutton School of Art will be hosting a screening of this new regional event, sure to enchant you. See the section below for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les Nocturnes, a tribute to Quebec auteur cinema in Sutton<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with the Sutton School of Art, the Town of Sutton is offering exclusive free tickets to Sutton residents and homeowners to attend film screenings offered as part of les Nocturnes, on selected Friday evenings from June to September 2024. One hundred and forty tickets will be distributed free of charge under the conditions described below. If you don’t qualify for free admission, the price is $10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held in the enchanting setting of the Sutton School of Art, les Nocturnes will present films from Quebec auteur cinema under the stars, on selected Friday evenings from June 21 to September 20, 2024. A great atmosphere awaits spectators from 7 p.m. with: refreshment bar with popcorn and nibbles, thrift shop sale, children’s art exhibition and surprise musical performances will be offered before the film presentation by the filmmaker or a member of the production, at 8 p.m., followed by the film screening at sunset. Please note that the films will be presented in their original French language with English subtitles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Screening dates are as follows: June 21, July 5 and 19, August 2 and 9, September 6 and 20.<\/strong>

The Nocturnes launch<\/strong> evening will feature an exclusive selection of Quebec shorts. Artisans of the short films presented will be there to chat with the public after the screening: Simon Gualtieri, Alexandre Lefebvre, Emmanuel Bilodeau, Eli Jean Tahchi, and more!
