They are increasingly used (e.g., the intersection at Cowansville hospital) and recommended by engineers for their aesthetic and safety benefits. They are also less restrictive for snowploughs (e.g. speed bumps).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current narrowing of the street is simply due to the fact that <strong>the asphalt has not yet been laid<\/strong>.
