There are only a few places left for the Collage and Poetry<\/em> workshop offered at the Sutton Municipal and School Library as part of its Winter act<\/mark><\/a>i<\/mark><\/a>vities<\/mark><\/a>! This workshop, led by Sutton author and painter Diane Lambin<\/mark><\/a>, will be held from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, from January 14 to March 18, 2025. Collage and poetry<\/em><\/strong> workshop description<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Lambin invites you to explore the impulse to take action that lies at the heart of the creative process. Over the course of 10 workshop sessions, you will create several artworks in which images and words intertwine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be invited to spontaneously select images from magazines to create an assemblage that reflects your tastes, personal aesthetics, moods and daydreams. Then, you will pour out your creative inspiration in words. The resulting collage will be the backdrop for your poetic exploration. You can create a story, a poem of a few lines, or even select a single word to describe the combination of images. The final work, combining visual arts and literature, will tell a little story that will allow the viewer to learn something about you: what inspires you and surrounds you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost of workshop (10 classes):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sutton residents and homeowners: $100 + tx.
Non-residents: $150 + tx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
