The Town of Sutton is looking to recruit new members to form the follow-up committee for the 2025-2029 Action Plan of the Cultural Policy: if you wish to get involved in the cultural scene in Sutton, here’s a great opportunity!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In December last year, the Town of Sutton adopted the new Cultural<\/mark><\/a> <\/mark><\/a>Policy<\/mark><\/a> and its 2025-2029 Action Plan<\/mark><\/a>. To bring the ambition of these commitments to life, the municipal council has also allocated a budget of $50,000 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night, at its March 5 meeting, the council adopted a resolution to confirm the composition of the ten members of the follow-up committee for the Cultural Policy and its action plan. The Town will be represented by two members of the municipal council, a member of the general administration, the cultural agent, and the director of the Leisure, Community Life, and Culture department. Two organizations carrying out planned actions also have confirmed spots on the committee: the Sutton Economic Development Corporation and Heritage Sutton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three positions remain to be filled on the committee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A citizen representative<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A representative of a recognized cultural organization<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. An artist or artisan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
