Fire Mutual Aid Agreements

To ensure an optimal response in the event of a fire, the Town of Sutton has established several mutual aid agreements with neighbouring municipalities, as well as with Franklin County, Vermont.

These agreements set out a rigorous operational framework allowing the fire departments of the signatory parties to respond in a coordinated manner, based on predefined protocols—particularly during major fires or situations requiring external support.

These collaborative mechanisms are designed to strengthen regional response capacity and ensure consistent, effective, and safe territorial coverage.
