Open House on Thursday, September 18, as Part of Municipal Week

From September 14 to 20, 2025, Quebec celebrates Municipal Week, which promotes local democracy and municipal organization. On this occasion, the Town of Sutton is organizing an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, September 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the fire station, to present its services and answer your questions about its role and work.

Information Booths

We invite you, especially new residents, to come meet us at the fire station between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

We will have various booths:

  • Municipal Information Booth
    • Upcoming Municipal Elections
    • Recreational, Community, and Cultural Activities
    • 2025 Public Works Projects
    • Municipal and School Library
    • Accessible Computer to visit the Town’s new website
  • Public Safety Booth
    • Fire Prevention – Fire Extinguishing Exercises
    • Emergency Plan and Civil Security
  • Tourist Information Booth, in collaboration with the Tourist Office
    • A welcome kit will be given to new residents: come pick it up!

Vehicle Display

We will also have on display, for children and adults alike, Town vehicles from the fleet that allows us to perform our daily tasks throughout the territory (road maintenance, protection, intervention, inspection):

  • The fire trucks, of course!
  • The largest Public Works tractor, nicknamed “Clifford”, which is used for major snow removal operations,
  • A police car.
