Residential Pool Compliance Deadline Postponed

The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Geneviève Guilbault, announced her intention to help citizens by postponing for a period of at least one year the obligation for pool owners to comply with the Residential Pool Safety Regulation.
According to our previous news from August 20, pool owners had until September 30, 2025, to comply with the new provincial safety standards. They are therefore granted a short-term reprieve and will not face any penalties before autumn 2026.
