The days are getting shorter, the leaves are falling, so...Halloween is just around the corner! Get your costumes ready and discover the many activities planned. Chills guaranteed!
Saturday, October 25
Family Costume Party – from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
On Saturday, October 25, a family costume party awaits you, with a costume contest for adults and children, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 2 Curley Street, from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.
Friday, October 31
Musical Stroll – from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In collaboration with “Silence. On danse”, the Town of Sutton invites you to a musical stroll the evening of October 31!
What better way to celebrate Halloween than in costume, with headphones on, dancing through the village and collecting candy? Monsters, ghosts, superheroes…people of all ages are welcome!


This event is a silent dance, with the music played through headphones: let DJ Syzygy’s rhythms come straight to your ears! A small speaker also allows passers-by to enjoy the music.
Meet at Veterans Park, 6 Maple Street, at 5:30 p.m. The stroll starts at 6 p.m. and ends at the former Filtex site (14 Dépôt Street) at around 7:30 p.m. The dance continues there until 8:30 p.m.

Costume Party – 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On the morning of October 31, the Centre d’action bénévole de Sutton (CAB) Sutton is organizing a costume party as part of the Family Nest. Families with young children are invited to attend from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 7 Maple Street.
Haunted House – from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Once again this year, the Royal Canadian Legion is offering a haunted house at 2 Curley Street, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, October 31. Come in costume, and candy will be distributed!
Mysteries at the Museum – from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Musée des communications et d’histoire de Sutton invites you to discover and guess the strange uses of artifacts in its collection! Find the right answers and go home with candy!
This activity is free and fun for children of all ages. It takes place on Friday, October 31, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at 32 Principale Sud Street.
Trick-or-Treating – all evening long!
On Friday, October 31, put on your costume and go trick-or-treating in Sutton!
As well as visiting residential neighbourhoods, don’t forget to take a stroll down rue Principale: candy will be handed out in open shops, in front of the Tourist Information Office, at the gazebo near the Post Office, at the Town Hall, at the Museum and at the Fire Station!
Racine pop will also be handing out homemade treats throughout the evening, and CAB Sutton (7 Maple Street) will be offering snacks and hot apple juice from 4 to 6 p.m.!
To ensure a safe evening, firefighters will be out on the streets in the evening.
