PersiVERDANT Thursday: the Town of Sutton goes green to encourage academic perseverance!
On this Thursday, February 19, Town of Sutton employees, along with the mayor, would like to show their solidarity and salute the perseverance of young people and adults in school.
PersiVERDANT Thursday invites everyone who wants to support academic success to get involved and share a message of encouragement and motivation: by wearing green, whether it is a garment or an accessory, you are sending a strong message of support to all those who are studying for their future.
Perseverance will take you far.

Why green?
Green symbolizes youth and hope. It represents young people who, every day, need recognition and encouragement to persevere. It is one of the two colors of the Hooked on School ribbon, the other being white. A synthesis of all the colors, white is a metaphor for the community that contributes to young people’s development.
