Sale of rain barrels by the Sutton Legion: a fundraiser supported by the Town
This year, the Town of Sutton won't be distributing the usual rainwater harvesting barrels; instead, the council has decided to support the Sutton Legion's initiative.
Organized by the Sutton Legion in collaboration with Men’s Shed de Sutton, the sale of these barrels is already accessible online at rainbarrel.ca/shedsutton or by scanning the QR code immediately above. The basic price is $65, taxes included, but you will find a whole range of barrels and accessories to suit your needs.
Buy your barrel now!
Barrels are made from food-grade, recycled plastic, and include a filter basket, spigot, T-shaped overflow adapter and 4-ft/1.20-m overflow hose.
A purchase that feels good
By purchasing a rainwater harvesting barrel, you are doing something concrete for the environment … and for your community!
On the one hand, you are helping to reduce drinking water consumption, while ensuring that your garden is watered, especially in times of drought.
In addition, a portion of the profits from the sale will be used to help finance activities focused on community support.
The Town of Sutton is also committed to acquiring rainwater barrels for its own horticultural needs.
