Offer description
For Arts Sutton, it's a question of building a core of committed people capable of welcoming the public, ensuring the smooth running of activities and raising the organization's profile in the community.
We are looking for people to :
Reception and information: people able to welcome visitors, answer basic questions, guide the public through exhibitions and activities.
Event support: people capable of helping with set-up, light logistics, supervising entrances or accompanying guests.
or
Administrative or communication support: people capable of making a one-off contribution to tasks such as disseminating information or helping to prepare materials.
Community presence: people able to spread the word about the organization in their network and strengthen local word-of-mouth.
Types of involvement
- Personal assistance (listening, accompaniment, visits, babysitting, etc.)
- Arts and culture (cultural events, exhibitions, heritage, etc.)
- Management and administration (committee, accounting, fundraising, editing, etc.)
- Visitor services and reception (kiosk, information, ticketing, etc.)
Requirements
- Fluency in French and English (bilingualism)
- Other requirements
Ease with the public, curiosity, appreciation of the visual arts
Other details
Communication languages: French, English
Frequency or schedule: Once a week, at weekends, at the end of the day, on call - anything is possible.
