Leaf collection on May 6

The first door-to-door leaf collection will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022. Here are the instructions for that day: Place your bags in plain view at the curb before 7 a.m. Use PAPER BAGS ONLY. Do not use ANY ADHESIVE TAPE. Attention! Plastic bags or bags with tape will not be collected. Other than door-to-door collection, here are the 4 options we suggest for disposing of your fallen leaves: PRIORITIZE LEAFCYCLING. It’s a good natural fertilizer and it’s easy: just leave the dead leaves on the ground after shredding them with your lawnmower; Place them in your BROWN BIN; Bring them to Cowansville to be RECYCLED for FREE : to the Régie intermunicipale de gestion des matières résiduelles ; or to the Regional ecocenter of the Brome-Missiquoi MRC.
