Ms. Isabelle Charest, MNA for Brome-Missisquoi and Minister responsible for Sport, Recreation and Outdoors, is proud to announce the creation of the new Programme d’aide financière aux infrastructures récréatives, sportives et de plein air (PAFIRSPA). This program comes with an investment of $300 million, earmarked in the 2023-2024 budget and fully funded by the Quebec government. This is a major measure in terms of accessibility, which will enable all of Quebec’s populations to engage in physical activity and practice their sport in modern, safe infrastructures. This program comes with an investment of $300 million, earmarked in the 2023-2024 budget and fully funded by the Quebec government.

Applications for support can be submitted by :

  • municipal organizations
  • non-profit organizations
  • solidarity cooperatives;
  • school and higher education organizations
  • a First Nations or Inuit organization recognized by the Quebec government.
