Nominations now open for the 2025 Volunteer Recognition Evening
The Town of Sutton is pleased to announce that its Volunteer Recognition Evening will take place on Friday, May 2.This celebration is an opportunity to honour the many volunteers involved in the organizations and activities offered on the Sutton territory. Recognized organizations are invited to nominate their 2025 volunteer by March 30.
This event is part of National Volunteer Week, from April 27 to May 3, which highlights the connections that are forged through volunteering, encouraging everyone to contribute their strengths for a more caring and engaged society.
A prize will be awarded in each of the following categories:
- Culture
- Recreation and Sports
- Community Life
- Emerging Talent: awarded to a volunteer aged 30 or under.
To nominate a volunteer
Organizations recognized by the Town of Sutton are invited to individually nominate a volunteer of their choice, using the form below, before March 30, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

A selection committee will choose the volunteers who will be rewarded during the evening. More information will be provided at a later date.
