The Town of Sutton is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to host the filming in the Eastern Townships of the new television program Piano public from Télé-Québec! Hosted by Gregory Charles and Viviane Audet, this is the very first televised piano competition in Quebec. The Eastern Townships candidates will audition at Veterans Park on Tuesday, June 10, starting at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Show concept The concept is simple. Pianists from all over Quebec and of all styles come together to showcase their talent and creativity on the piano, in the great outdoors! Following a series of auditions in different regions of the province, the selected pianists will face a variety of creative challenges leading up to the grand finale. The pianist who stands out the most will receive top honors! The aim of the competition is to showcase pianists of all ages and styles. It is not about finding the best technician but about finding a pianist who can captivate crowds and share his or her passion.
