Advance Polling: Sutton maintains high turnout!

During the Advance Polling for the 2025 municipal elections, Sutton once again stood out for its strong civic commitment, with a higher turnout than many other municipalities.

Nouvelle - Vote par anticipation

A total of 966 electors, or 21.36% of the population, came to the Sutton School gymnasium to exercise their right to vote. This percentage does not include Mobile Polling or Voting by Mail.

These figures are comparable to those for the 2021 municipal elections, when 923 people voted in advance, for a similar rate.

The returning officer would like to thank the election staff for their support last Sunday, as well as the citizens for their patience, despite the large turnout. Additional staff will be on hand at reception on polling day to help reduce waiting times.

We hope that this enthusiasm will continue, and we invite voters who have not yet cast their ballot to exercise their right to elect their representatives to the next municipal council.
