It's an eagerly awaited annual event: Les journées de la culture! Whether you're alone, with family, or with friends, you have the opportunity to celebrate the artistic and heritage richness of our region.

Les journées de la culture aim to democratize culture, encourage citizen participation, and highlight the work of artists and artisans. From Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, 2025, several cultural organizations offer a range of free activities in Sutton, and some paid events are also available.

Zine Creation Workshop at the Municipal and School Library

Are you familiar with the world of zines (short for magazine)? Discover this artistic form of publication and share a moment of creativity while exploring paper, folding, and binding. During this workshop, zines will be created and exchanged among participants, and copies of the completed works will then be exhibited at the Library.

Presentation of artist François Mathieu’s work at D’Arts et de rêves: What will I mold then?

The visual artist presents the works he created during his residency at D’Arts et de rêves. His work stems from an exploration of various molding techniques using selected objects. Visitors can admire both the original objects and the works that were made from the molds.

Exhibition I Am a Tree by Artist Catherine Magnan at Arts Sutton

The exhibition offers an intimate connection with nature through installations inspired by forest rituals and naturalistic drawings, where art and environment meet.

Espace Sutton 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert at Saint-André Church

Espace Sutton celebrates its 25th anniversary by offering the community the opportunity to attend a unique concert at Saint-André Church. Directed by Marie-Claude Elias, the Trium Choir and the Grand Chœur de Sherbrooke present Le Requiem by François Dompierre, with the composer in attendance.

Karen Young and Marianne Trudel Concert: Voice and Bösendorfer Piano in Glen Sutton

Come celebrate singer Karen Young’s 50-year career. She will be accompanied by the very talented Marianne Trudel, winner of two Opus awards last February, who will perform on the recently restored Bösendorfer piano. The show Ode to Nature, Ode to Life! navigates through the words of Gilles Vigneault, Richard Desjardins, Joséphine Bacon, The Beatles, Abbey Lincoln, Joni Mitchell, and Neil Young.
