Check your registration on the electoral roll!

Normally, each elector receives a Notice of Registration in the mail, confirming his or her registration, the date and location of advance polling and voting. With this procedure likely to be disrupted by the strike, and with the date of the municipal elections fast approaching, Elections Chair Geneviève Bonnichon is calling on the cooperation of all qualified voters to verify, and possibly correct, the entries on our electoral list, including those of non-domiciled electors.

How do I check my name on the voters list during a Canada Post strike?

1. Consult the electoral list online

The quickest and easiest way to check your registration is to consult the electoral list posted on the Town of Sutton website: enter your address, then click on the “Am I registered?” tab, where you’ll be asked to enter your date of birth.

2. Consult the list of electors in person

Prefer to check in person? The electoral list is available for consultation at the Town Hall reception desk during business hours.

3. Contact us by e-mail

As a last resort, if you encounter any difficulties in consulting the electoral list or if you have any further questions, we invite you to send us an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. We’ll be happy to get back to you as soon as possible.

Our team is working hard to make this process as simple and accessible as possible, despite the current strike.

NOTE: Registration notices will be printed and available starting the week of October 13 at the Town Hall reception desk, if the strike at Canada Post continues. Further information will follow.

What if you haven’t registered or your registration is incorrect?

You must appear in person at the Board of Revision on October 17, 2025, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., or on October 21, 2025, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., at Sutton Town Hall.
