Are you a grandparent who wants to play a significant role in your grandchildren’s love of reading?

This workshop is for you to highlight the valuable influence you have in transmitting the pleasure of reading.

During this meeting, you will be invited to :

  • Become aware of your unique role in awakening and maintaining the pleasure of reading;
  • Discover simple, practical ways to nurture children’s interest in books;
  • Experiment with fun reading activities;
  • Think about how your gestures, words and reading memories can become a cultural and emotional legacy.

No reading expertise is required.
Your experience, your presence and your enjoyment of reading are at the heart of this workshop!

Location: Sutton Municipal and School Library, 19 Highland Street
Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 1 p.m.
Cost: free for Sutton residents and homeowners, $11 +tx for non-residents
