This workshop, led by Sutton author and painter Diane Lambin, will be held from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, from January 14 to March 18, 2025. The deadline for registration is this Sunday, January 12. Treat yourself to a creative activity! Collage and poetry workshop description Ms. Lambin invites you to explore the impulse to take action that lies at the heart of the creative process. Over the course of 10 workshop sessions, you will create several artworks in which images and words intertwine. You will be invited to spontaneously select images from magazines to create an assemblage that reflects your tastes, personal aesthetics, moods and daydreams. Then, you will pour out your creative inspiration in words. The resulting collage will be the backdrop for your poetic exploration. You can create a story, a poem of a few lines, or even select a single word to describe the combination of images. The final work, combining visual arts and literature, will tell a little story that will allow the viewer to learn something about you: what inspires you and surrounds you. Collage and poetry workshop description
Ms. Lambin invites you to explore the impulse to take action that lies at the heart of the creative process. Over the course of 10 workshop sessions, you will create several artworks in which images and words intertwine.

Sutton residents and homeowners: $100 + tx.
Non-residents: $150 + tx.
Material to bring:
- A multimedia drawing book, 9 x 12 in. or 11 x 14 in.
- A quality glue stick (Pritt)
- A pair of scissors
- A stack of magazines (if you have any)
How to register for activities
The deadline for registration is on Sunday, January 12.
We ask you to register via the AccèsCité loisirs online platform that we already use for summer sports and leisure activities. This system facilitates registration and online payment.

If you already have an AccèsCité loisirs account, click here to access the platform. Then simply log in to your profile and click on the Register button to access the catalog of activities and select the choices that interest you. You will then be able to proceed to online payment if required. - You must create an account
If you don’t have an account yet, you can follow the procedure to create your user profile by clicking here. Once you’ve created your profile, you’ll need to wait a minimum of 24 hours to allow the Recreation, Community Life and Culture team to approve it. Then, log in to your account and click on the Register button to access the directory of available activities. Simply select the choices that interest you and proceed to payment, if applicable. - If you need help
