Municipal Council meetings
The meetings of the Municipal Council are held on the first Wednesday of every month, unless otherwise indicated, in the Council room of the Sutton Town Hall located at 11 Principale Sud Street.
- Doors open at 7 p.m.;
- Free admission according to the capacity of the room (no reservation, first come, first seated).
Questions to Council
No questions are permitted in writing in advance: in accordance with the Act, only questions asked in person during the meeting will be accepted (written questions are only possible in municipalities with 20 or more councillors).
Citizen interventions
Public consultation on by-law changes, referendum lists, citizen comment on minor exemptions or conditional uses must be done in person.
Viewing the meeting
The Council meetings are broadcast live on the Town’s YouTube channel. All meetings will remain available for replay at the same location and on the Town's website in the Municipal Administration/Council Meetings section. Minutes are released a few days after the meeting and remain provisional until they are adopted at the next Council meeting.
