National Volunteer Week 2025
For over 50 years now, the Fédération des centres d’actions bénévoles du Québec has been celebrating volunteer involvement. This year, from April 27 to May 3, we are celebrating National Volunteer Week, under the theme Let’s get on the road to volunteering! From April 27 to May 3, let’s get on the road to volunteering! The theme of this 51st edition of National Volunteer Week is “ Let’s get on the road to volunteering“. The Sutton community is home to nearly fifty non-profit organizations (NPOs) working in the fields of culture, sports and recreation, and community life. The many services they offer our community rely heavily on the incredible work of their volunteers. The next generation of volunteers is all the more important for our local organizations. As part of the Family and Seniors Policy and its accompanying 2023-2027 action plan, the Town of Sutton is committed to promoting various volunteer opportunities in the community to encourage the next generation of volunteers. Sutton offers many ways to get involved: there is something to suit every taste, activity and availability, all year long! Are you looking to get involved for a few hours a year or on a more regular basis? Do you like festivals or would you like to lead activities or work with your hands? Check out Sutton’s new volunteer directory! Thanks to our volunteers! The Town of Sutton would like to thank all those who volunteer their time: your dedication, motivation and enthusiasm are an invaluable driving force for the entire Sutton community!…

Volunteer Week organized by the FCABQ
The Fédération des Centres d’action bénévole du Québec (FCABQ) is a non-profit organization that brings together 121 Volunteer Centres across Quebec. Its mission is to mobilize, support and represent Volunteer Action Centres (CABs) in order to stimulate the promotion, recognition and development of different volunteer action practices within the community.
The FCABQ has been promoting Québec Volunteer Week since 1974. Each year, it initiates a theme with a visual for all players in the community and voluntary sector.
“Volunteers, organizations, and all those ready to embark on this meaningful journey: now is the time to get on road!” (FCABQ)
