Sutton’s Fête nationale du Québec musical evening promises to be electrifying!

The Fête nationale is back at Goyette-Hill Park! The Sutton Economic Development Corporation (CDES), the Recreation, Community Life and Culture team and the Sutton Encore cultural organization are proud to present you with a preview of the musical program. Expect an evening of dancing, music, pride and celebration: reserve your date now for Tuesday, June 24 in Sutton!

An electrifying musical program

The Sutton Encore organization and its director Vanessa Lauzon have put together an evening featuring three concerts of francophone music, sure to get young and old alike dancing. Goyette-Hill Park will vibrate to the rhythms of local artists, all ready to ignite your hearts… and your feet!

Opening act, 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: KIM ALBERT

To kick off the evening’s musical festivities, Suttonnaise singer-songwriter Kim Albert will open the evening with her touching, stripped-down folk compositions that will resonate deeply with the audience.

Second part, 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.: PARAZAR

Continuing the festivities, the public can discover or rediscover Parazar, the Algerian-born Montreal artist and rapper. One of Radio-Canada’s Révélations and a finalist in the 2023 Francouvertes, she will be joined by Fifo on composition. This promising duo will transport you into different atmospheres and sounds reminiscent of their Algerian origins. The artist stands out from the crowd thanks to her writing style and technical flow. On stage, with her strong personality, humor, charisma and boundless energy, Parazar will connect irresistibly with the Sutton audience.

Headliner and third act, 8-9:30 p.m.: CHOSES SAUVAGES

The star of the evening will be Choses Sauvagesa Montreal-based band renowned for their frenzied performances and irresistible electro-funk grooves. Renowned as true stage beasts, the band members, led by the incandescent Félix Bélisle (La Sécurité), make it their duty to set any stage on fire. Their infectious energy is sure to have Sutton dancing the night away!

  • In the event ofthunderstorms, the concerts will take place in the Alec and Gérard Pelletier concert hall at 4C rue Maple in Sutton. An announcement concerning all the day’s activities will be published 24 hours in advance, on the home page of the Town of Sutton website and on the Facebook pages of the Town and of Tourisme Sutton.
