The Sutton Municipal and School Library invites you to a lecture by Caroline Pomerleau of the Terre fruitière organic farm, on Saturday, March 29, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. Terre fruitière is a market garden and fruit farm in Dunham, Montérégie, certified organic by Ecocert Canada. Founded in 2010 by Jean-Michel Schiele and Caroline Pomerleau to grow organic fruit, the farm now produces several varieties of organic apples, as well as organic plums, European pears and Asian pears. Passionate about farming, the couple have diversified their activities over the years, and now grow over forty varieties of vegetables. In summer, Terre fruitière distributes organic baskets of farm produce in Sutton and Longueuil.
