The Town of Sutton celebrates Hooked on School Days
From February 10 to 14, the 21st edition of the Hooked on School Days (JPS) is a time of mobilization and awareness-raising to promote school retention and the educational success of young people. As a token of its commitment to school success, the Town of Sutton has hoisted the JPS flag on its flagpole, the symbol of this celebration.
Together, let’s support the success of our young people!

The municipal council and administration of the Town of Sutton are committed to the development and success of our community’s young people. In accordance with the resolution adopted on February 5 they wish to encourage and congratulate pupils and students for their perseverance, and to underline the importance of the role played by teachers, parents, CAB Sutton homework volunteers and all those involved in the fight against dropping out of school and in promoting education. On Thursday, February 13, we invite you to wear a green garment or accessory to show your commitment to school perseverance.

The origins of JPS
Since 2004, Quebec has been mobilizing to promote student retention and educational success through the Hooked on School Days (JPS).
Over the years, JPS has become an annual awareness-raising and mobilization event, highlighting the importance of getting involved with young people and encouraging them in their efforts to succeed.
This week takes place during the 3rd week of February, a crucial time in the school year when young people can feel a drop in energy and motivation. JPS provides a platform for Quebec society to encourage and value young people, and to listen to their motivations and aspirations.
