Expected heat

Hot, humid weather is expected on June 24. All programming remains at Goyette-Hill Park.

Here are our recommendations for enjoying the activities:

  • Stay hydrated! Bring your own reusable bottle: water dispensers are available on site: at the park chalet and at the water fountain near the baseball field;
  • Protect yourself! Light, loose-fitting clothing, sun cream and head coverings are recommended to limit the impact of sun exposure. The site will be equipped with parasols in the food and family zones;
  • Freshen up! Public Health recommends cooling off in air-conditioned areas. The Fête site is close to the water games (open at all times) and the swimming pool, which will be open exceptionally until 6:30 p.m.

Friendly competitions in the family zone will be adjusted according to the weather.

Parking

It’s better to walk or bike!

To make it easier for you to get around, we encourage you to carpool and use active transportation, on foot or by bike. Several bike racks are available at Goyette-Hill Park.

Municipal parking lots available

  • Parking at the water source on Route 215;
  • Both parking lots on Western Street at Goyette-Hill Park;
  • Transport Larose graciously lends us its parking lots near Goyette-Hill Park (across the street from our parking lots);
  • The municipal parking lot on Western Sud Street next to Villas des Monts.
