Notice of Assessment

As announced last November, the Town of Sutton must apply, as of January 1, 2026, its new 2026-2027-2028 assessment roll, determined by the Brome-Missisquoi MRC. To this end, it is issuing an notice of assessment to each property owner in order to:

  • inform them of the key information on the assessment roll for their property;
  • specify the procedures for requesting correction of an omission or inaccuracy on the assessment roll;
  • indicate the standardized value of his or her property: it is on the basis of this value that the owner must determine whether the valuation of his or her property is fair and reasonable.
