Nominate a candidate for the Canada’s Volunteer Awards
– INFORMATION FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA – Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) invites you to submit a nomination for the Canada’s Volunteer Awards. The awards feature one national award – the Thérèse Casgrain Lifetime Achievement Award – and 20 regional awards in the categories of Community Leadership, Emerging Leader, Corporate Leadership and Social Innovation. Nominations are open until May 8, 2025. Applications are for : Candidates must submit at least one letter of support. Only one nomination per person is accepted. Political and public advocacy activities are not eligible. All winners are recognized at a national ceremony. They also select a registered Canadian non-profit organization to receive a grant of $10,000 for the national award, or $5,000 for the regional awards. - individuals or groups;
- companies;
- social enterprises;
- non-profit organizations;
- registered charities.
Candidates must submit at least one letter of support. Only one nomination per person is accepted. Political and public advocacy activities are not eligible.

- English session: April 8, 2025, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT
- French session: April 9, 2025, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT
