REMINDER – Distribution of rainwater harvesting barrels on Saturday, May 24
As announced in the news item on Earth Day, for the third year running the Town of Sutton is offering a subsidy program for the purchase of rainwater harvesting barrels, for $50 instead of $125. This initiative aims to save considerable quantities of drinking water that would otherwise be drawn from the municipal aqueduct or private wells. It's essential to reserve your barrel!
Distribution of drainwater harvesting barrels
220-litre barrels, valued at $125, will be available at a cost of $50 plus tax ($57.50) for Sutton residents. Fifty barrels will be distributed on Saturday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot.
It is essential to reserve your barrel in advance. A representative of the company that makes the barrels, Les Bariteux, will be on site to hand over your barrel and explain its operation and maintenance.
To reserve your barrel, send an e-mail with your name and address to [email protected]. Payment will be required upon delivery of the barrel, in cash only and for the exact amount.
Proof of residence must be presented on site.
