Adoption schedule for the new Urban Plan

In anticipation of the submission of the first version of the Urban Plan 2025 at the municipal council meeting on August 6, the Town of Sutton wishes to inform the public of the upcoming steps, which will allow them to comment on the changes made and the general content of the Plan.
Consultation and Approval Schedule for the Revised Urban Plan
- On August 6, the council will adopt several notices of motion and initial draft by-laws intended to begin the consultation and adoption process for the revised urban plan.
- Starting August 8, all documents will be available online on the Rêvons Sutton/Urban Plan and By-laws Revision Process website.
- From August 8 to September 10, a pre-consultation, online and by appointment, will take place to gather initial feedback from the public.
- On September 11, the official public consultation meeting on the Urban Plan will be held, as required by the Act respecting land use planning and development (LAU).
- From September 12 to 19, adjustments may be made to the draft Urban Plan following public comments received after the public consultation.
- On October 1, the Urban Plan is expected to be adopted during the municipal council meeting.
A summary will be published in the coming days on the Rêvons Sutton website, regarding the results of the comments collected during the open house organized on June 26.
Please note that a public consultation on the Vieux-Verger project will also take place on August 28.
