Call for nominations for the Sustainable Mobility Advisory Committee and the Quality of Life Advisory Committee
The Town of Sutton invites citizens wishing to become actively involved in municipal life to submit their candidacy for one of the two advisory committees whose seats are currently vacant: the Advisory Committee on Sustainable Mobility and the Advisory Committee on Quality of Life. Come and contribute your ideas and dynamism!

Participating in a committee offers you a great opportunity to actively contribute to the future of your community, to share your ideas, experience and expertise, and to take part in discussions that enrich the decisions of the municipal council.
As a member of an advisory committee, you will be called upon to :
- Contribute to municipal orientations and projects,
- Participate in constructive and collaborative exchanges,
- Share your ideas, experiences and expertise,
- Represent the interests and realities of Sutton’s citizens,
- Have a concrete impact on the living environment.
Committees are made up of volunteer citizens and member(s) of the municipal council. Each committee meets in person a few times a year, according to its mandate, at mutually convenient dates and times.
In which committee?
Advisory Committee on Sustainable Mobility
The committee is currently recruiting two members, ideally including, but not necessarily, a representative of young people and/or young families.
The committee’s role is to submit opinions and recommendations on specific issues and/or dossiers relating to sustainable mobility, at the request of the Board or the Administration.

Quality of Life Advisory Committee
The committee is currently recruiting two members.
At the express request of the council, this committee submits opinions and recommendations on any issue or file relating to the quality of life in the residential environment, including the reduction of nuisance and the implementation of a participatory budget.
