The Town of Sutton Signs a New Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Cowansville
The municipal council authorized the signing of a new intermunicipal agreement with the Town of Cowansville at its meeting on August 6. This agreement allows Sutton residents to benefit from Cowansville resident rates for certain activities.
The 2025-2028 agreement allows Sutton residents to pay Cowansville resident rates for the following activities:
- Ice hockey;
- Figure skating
- The Town’s swimming lessons;
- The Cowansville swim team (regular season);
- Specialized rescue courses and to become a lifeguard or swimming instructor;
- Minor soccer;
- All other courses or workshops requiring registration and directly offered by the Leisure and Culture Department, with the exception of library services.
The reception capacity, however, is established by the Town of Cowansville.
Parking at the Nature Center
It is now possible for residents of towns with intermunicipal agreements to purchase a parking pass for the Nature Center rather than paying $10 per visit. The rate is $75 per season, from June 15 to September 15.
