The Town of Sutton’s website gets a new look!
The Town of Sutton is proud to have smoothly launched its new website, which has been modernized and redesigned with a user-centric approach, primarily meeting the needs of its citizens.
“We are very satisfied to have successfully completed this website redesign project, which will better meet our efficiency requirements.”, emphasized Director General Jonathan Fortin. “I personally thank everyone who contributed to this great common effort, especially the agency Humains and our communications advisor, supported by the department heads.”
A Modern Interface
This new site is the culmination of a long-term effort to revise its structure and design. It was essential to streamline the website while ensuring that relevant information is found more intuitively and easily. Quick links have been added, particularly based on the most frequently consulted topics. The search engine has also been improved to allow for better exploration of the site.
The site is now divided into three main sections: Municipal Life, Services to the Population, and Culture, Recreation and Parks. Please note that it will continue to undergo adjustments over the next few weeks, but we are confident that you will quickly find the information you are looking for.

An Evolving Site
The Town’s very first website was created in 2005. In 2014, the agency Two Humans (now Humains) was tasked with its first redesign and has been maintaining it ever since. A technological update was carried out in 2019, without major visual changes. In 2023, the site also complied with the provisions of Quebec’s Act 25 on the Protection of Citizens’ Information, offering enhanced privacy and transparency measures.
In ten years, the Town of Sutton’s website has grown from 46 to 193 pages, and the number of visits has increased from 44,050 to over 121,000! Over the past four years, the number of subscribers to our newsletter (which compiles all news and public notices published on the site once a week) has increased by more than 50%.
