Western Street reconstruction site – Work Info from June 2 until June 5, 2025

The Public Works and Fixed Assets Department wishes to provide you with this important information for the upcoming week of June 2, 2025. Final phase: Laying the surface paving layer. During this phase, driveways will be inaccessible for a short period (approximately three hours) to allow the paving layer to cool. Residents will receive a door-to-door notice the day before the work begins, giving them the precise date so that they can move their cars if necessary. Restrictions: Local traffic only on Western Street North. Detour via Pleasant St. (Route 215), Academy St., Principale Nord, Woodard Rd. or Lefebvre Rd. Park users will be able to enter via the cycle path. Parking lots P1 and P2 will be available but with limited access.  Work may be modified or cancelled due to operational constraints or weather conditions.
