The mayor’s public meetings this week: a much appreciated presentation of concrete facts
As announced at the last municipal council meeting on February 5, Mayor Robert Benoît held two citizens' meetings on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, one in French, the other in English. He was keen to present concrete facts, on the one hand on all municipal achievements in recent years and, on the other, on the chronology of events in the contentious Foyer de charité (Villa Châteauneuf inc.) file.
The mayor drew up a list, impressive according to those present, of all the achievements of the Town over the past three years. He expressed pride in these results, on behalf of the council and administration. With regard to the Foyer de Charité, he gave a factual presentation of the dates and events that led to the current situation of this Sutton heritage jewel.
