Applications for financial support from the council’s discretionary budget open on March 3
On August 7, 2025, the Municipal Council adopted a new version of the NPO Recognition and Support Policy. All NPOs that have obtained a new recognition status since its adoption are eligible to apply for a maximum of $1,000 from the new financial support program from the Municipal Council’s 2025 discretionary budget, which will open on March 3. NPOs that have obtained a new recognition status have access to various types of support, including financial support, defined according to their recognition category. The financial support programs for projects and operations are now closed, but the Municipal Council’s 2025 discretionary budget will open on March 3, for all recognized NPOs. The total amount of this budget is $10,000, provided that a recognized NPO may request no more than $1,000.
