Inspired by previous editions that brought together hundreds of people at Parc Goyette-Hill, the team from the Service des loisirs, de la vie communautaire et de la culture, the Corporation de développement économique de Sutton (CDES) and the cultural organization Sutton Encore are working hard together to create an event that promises to make Sutton vibrate to the rhythm of francophone music and family celebrations.

A provincial theme where you will be part of the game!

For the 2026 edition of the Fête nationale du Québec, the commemorative theme honors the 75th anniversary of the birth of Guy Lafleur, a key figure in our collective memory and a Quebec hockey legend. This choice is consistent with the recent adoption of the Act recognizing ice hockey as Quebec’s national sport. So, you will find references to hockey and to Mr. Lafleur in our communications and throughout the festive day!

A musical game spread over 3 periods

For a 5th consecutive year, Sutton Encore and its director Vanessa Lauzon are offering a festive evening of francophone music for all generations to sing and dance to. Parc Goyette-Hill will come alive to the sounds of local artists, ready to thrill audiences in a lively, unifying atmosphere.

1st Period from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The musical evening begins with Frelighsburg artist Georges Ouel who will open the evening with a musical universe that evokes both a western-spaghetti waltz and a modern blues. Steeped in Quebec’s rich musical culture, Georges Ouel flirts with chanson classics like a Brassens from 450.

For the 2nd period, it is the band Spaghatt who, in their country uniforms, will set the rink alight and take the mood up a notch with their electrifying presence and festive style. With pedal steel licks, knee-slapping melodies and lyrics imbued with true, unadorned poetry, Spaghatt has carved out a place for himself on the Quebec country scene. You will have no choice but to tap your toes as you listen to their songs about love, the road and passing cash, set to catchy melodies that invite you to party.

The evening’s headliner is Hologramme who create dreamy, danceable, atmospheric and dystopian electronic music. Behind the pseudonym lies Clément Leduc, composer and producer of electronic music, who enjoys fusing live music and DJ sets with his modular synthesizers. Active for several years now, Hologramme has been racking up collaborations with brands (MURAL, LNDMRK, CF Montréal), and artists such as Les Louanges, Robert Robert, Lunice, Snail Kidd and Joe Rocca, both of Dead Obies. With over 9 million listeners and two EPs in 2025, Hologramme continues its international ascent.

The evening ends at 9:30 p.m. with a visual national anthem: our traditional fireworks!

Full program to come
